At present there is a Government Primary Health
Care Center; however there is no physician trained in modern medicine; most of
the time medicines, vaccines( against rabbis /snake bite), and necessary care
are not available. The old building is in dilapidated condition.
Sevakendra
Health Care Program:
In the Sevakendra Clinic Building, once a week, a
Homeopathic doctor provides low cost health care to about 100 patients.
A part time medical assistant, four
part time helpers, and two volunteers help the doctor. In 2006, a total of
4,500 patients have been treated. The program is partially self-sustained.
